Will Jagan Handover Big Weapon To Chandrababu?

There are reports all of sudden that Vijayasai Reddy may be brought into state politics. Buzz is that he will be made an MLC and will be given Finance Ministry.

The idea is to use his Delhi experience to lobby for more funds and loans. But then such a move will be a boon for Chandrababu Naidu. It is known that Vijayasai Reddy is A2 in Jagan’s cases.

When he is brought into a crucial ministry like Finance ministry, it is nothing but giving a chance for the Opposition to make allegations of funds misappropriation.

We have already seen how Finance ministry is most mismanaged in Jagan’s tenure so far. There are instances of secret loans and twisting the system to borrow more money etc.

With Buggana being the incharge of Finance ministry, it is just about financial indiscipline but if Vijayasai Reddy handles it, there will be allegations of corruption for obvious reasons.

With elections just two years to go, Jagan definitely would not want to play into the hands of Chandrababu Naidu. The Cabinet reshuffle is likely after Ugadi. So, we will know that in a month or month and a half.
