Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised everyone last night saying that he is going to give up his social media accounts from Sunday. A lot has been written and speculated about this move. And someone like Rahul Gandhi advised Modi to give away hatred but not social media.

However, Modi smashed everything in style earlier today. PM today on Twitter made it clear that he is no mood to let go of his account but he will give away my social media accounts to women whose life and work inspire the people in India.

PM tweeted, “This Women’s Day, I will give away my social media accounts to women whose life and work inspire us. This will help them ignite motivation in millions. Are you such a woman or do you know such inspiring women? Share such stories using #SheInspiresUs.”

PM Modi is one of the most-followed political leaders on social media, who takes it as a means of connecting directly with the people. He used Social Media aggressively even before coming to Power in 2014.
