Yet another jolt to TDP in Telangana!

Telangana TDP is suffering blow after blow. Senior Leader and TDP Floor Leader, Errabelli Dayakara Rao and Rajendranagar MLA Prakash Goud joined TRS a short while ago. Errabelli is often criticized as TRS covert in TDP and his actions looked suspicious in the party for a long time.

Majority of MLAs elected from TDP have defected in to TDP and with this the party may be considered as merged in to TRS. In that way by-elections in defected MLA seats can be avoided. TRS sources say two more TDP MLAs are in line to join the party.

TDP which got 16 MLAs in the last elections are now left only with five MLAs. Back to back defeats and defections making life difficult for TDP in the newest state of the country. Its existence is in doubt now.
