Yet Another Self Goal by YSR Congress?

YSR Congress since the first day was opposing Pattiseema Project. Jagan went on to say Pattiseema did not have Storage, both Krishna and Godavari will have a flood at the same time and Political corruption etc. But now, nothing of those could stand and finally Pattiseema materialized.

Due to Pattiseema, the farmers of Krishna Delta were saved this season and as much as 91 TMCs of water was pumped to Rayalaseema this year through Srisailam like never before in the past. Pattiseema is a big success and YSR Congress had to take a U-turn that they never opposed Pattiseema.

And now, YSR Congress had started opposing Purushothampatnam Lift Irrigation Project which was proposed to meet Drinking and Industrial Water needs for Vishakapatnam. Jagan even deployed Botsa, a leader of Uttarandhra to oppose this project.

This project will also be a success like Pattiseema since Polavaram is not going to happen any sooner. All this political criticism will backfire severely on YSR Congress when the project is complete. Political experts opine that this is going to be yet another self goal for the main opposition party.
