Your Driving License can be cancelled!

Growing number of road accidents is becoming a black mark on the prestige of Andhra Pradesh. This is only indicating the failure of Traffic Police and R&B departments. So, both these departments are studying in to ways to reduce this menace. They primarily zeroed in on Recklessness of drivers and poor fitness of vehicles as the reason for increasing accidents.

While there are strict rules to verify fitness of vehicles, proper mechanism to handle them carefully is missing. On the other side, imposing fines for reckless drivers is not helping the cause. So, the authorities are planning to implement a policy as in Foreign countries to tackle them. Any vehicle user who is involved in an accident for more than 2 times will get his driving license cancelled automatically for a period of 5 years. During that period, he is not allowed to ride any vehicle.
