Naidu let go a big chance to Jagan

Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced that he will be sitting for an indefinite fast in Guntur from September 15th demanding Special Status to the state. This will be huge chance to Jagan to make an impression on the people that he is fighting for their cause. Fighting for Special Status was supposed to be a chance for Naidu to consolidate his position in the people.

However he could not grab it due to the dependence of the state on the center for all the aspects right from various state division promises to Capital construction. Forget about deriving political benefit, Naidu stares at the possibility of reviving the dead opposition in the state.

The dynamics of politics in the state may change according to the way the government handles Jagan’s deeksha now. Remember that one indefinite fast by KCR had led to the state division and a drastic change in the Telugu politics! We will have to see how Naidu handles this one now!
