Jagan Readying for yet Another Jail Term?

The leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had challenged to make his MPs resign and face by-elections next year if the Center do not concede to the Special Status Demand. There is an interesting theory doing rounds in Political Circles about this challenge and why Jagan got this challenge all of sudden. They say there is a good plan about it.

The Theory goes like this – Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to go to jail once again. One of the cases on him is in final hearing and there is a good chance that Jagan may get an unfavorable judgment in this case. They also say that two investors have given recorded statement against Jagan and it will be enough to get him behind the bars.

This Challenge was suddenly brought out because he can allege Political Vendetta by Narendra Modi and Chandrababu Naidu for his arrest just because he is putting up a fight on Special Status. And then, Vijayamma and Sharmila will once again take the party reins like in the case of what happened before the last elections.

Both Sharmila and Vijayamma have disappeared from political sphere after 2014 elections defeat. They are always used when Jagan is in trouble. But then things will become extremely difficult for YSR Congress if Jagan is back to jail. All these Political Vendetta statements can not hold good. We have seen them not working in last elections itself. But for now there is no authenticity for this as it’s just a rumor.
