YS Jagan is possibly one of the very few politicians in India, who is completely against the concept of alliances. In his elaborate political career that lasted nearly a decade and half, not once did Jagan look for an alliance with any party.
There is this standing talk that Jagan might be silently supporting the NDA from the outside by supporting all their resolutions in the parliament. But in more direct terms, Jagan’s YCP was never in alliance till now.
In the meanwhile, there have been several reports about Jagan being approached by the left parties to form an alliance with the INDIA bloc. He was even invited for the round table conference with the INDIA alliance parties recently.
But it appears that Jagan is completely against this principal as well, and his latest social media post is confirming the same.
Last night, Jagan shared a video on social media, where he had earlier spoken about wanting to fight the political battle alone, and not wanting to form alliances with any other parties.
The timing of this video is such that Jagan has strategically posted it at a time when there have been media theories about his participation in the INDIA bloc. People are connecting the dots and commenting that could be indicating that he is not interested in joining the INDI alliance either.
It is extremely common for all the political parties to contemplate alliances and alter loyalties based on the situations and circumstances. But at the end of the day, Jagan is extremely individualistic and monotonous which makes it all the more tougher for him to be in partnership with any other party.
