Jagan Readies Another Failure For Himself

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made a statement about Polavaram Project in the assembly on Wednesday. On expected lines, the CM blamed Chandrababu Naidu for making very little progress.

He even mocked Ramoji Rao and Radhakrishna in the assembly. It is a different story that there is a criticism that Jagan does not display the decorum that one expects from a Chief Minister.

Keeping that excentric behavior and the criticism about it aside, the Chief Minister could not come up with a legit reason for the delay and a statement that will infuse confidence in the people about the completion.

The Chief Minister also announced that the government will now complete the project by the Kharif season of 2023. In three years so far, the government has only completed around 5% work.

Polavaram is 77% completed so far. Going by the current pace and the financial condition of the Jagan Government, it will be another date and another failure for Jagan Government.

In all probability, we will see a new target completion date in the election manifesto.
