ED Fear or Capital Fear? Why Is Jagan Opting for a Change?

Taking a hint from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had also decided to bid goodbye to Hyderabad. Jagan also decided to shift his case to the AP Capital region in Guntur district. The party leaders have already began scouting for a house near Mangalagiri for buy or on rent.

YSR Congress is also scouting for land near Mangalagiri to build its headquarters there. The party seem to have taken this decision strategically to remove fears of the capital region residents that Mr Reddy will shift capital from the area if he comes to power in 2019. Jagan has got a name that he is averse to the capital in the area.

Almost all the surveys indicate that people in Krishna and Guntur districts are against to YSR Congress for the same reason. There are also doubts that if this sudden decision is some how linked to the Enforcement Directorate’s attachment of Jagan’s Lotus Pond Residence.
