Jagan Repeating Naidu’s 2004 Mistake!

Government employees’ Chalo Vijayawada in February this year is a huge success. It has brought the government on to its kneel. But the government cleverly escaped by managing the Union leaders without giving the PRC hike and other demands.

Teachers’ Unions have walked midway out of those talks expressing resentment over the Unions and Government. But due to a lack of support, they could not operate independently.

The Teachers are, however, very unhappy with the Government. For the last few days, teachers have been resisting the government’s decision to merge schools.

The government did not care for their objections and the concerned minister Botsa Satyanarayana even made critical comments about them.

Now Jagan Government has brought facial recognition attendance in schools poking them further.

Teachers form a very crucial role in the election process. They take care of the election process and can also influence a section of voters.

Way back in 2004 when Chandrababu Naidu made biometric attendance mandatory, we have seen how they played a crucial role in TDP’s defeat.

YSR Congress supporters are worried that Jagan is rubbing the teachers on the wrong side.
