YS Jagan faces criticism over Independence Day and Vinayaka Chavithi
Pulivendula MLA YS Jagan frequently faces complaints about disregarding his duties as the opposition leader of the state. On one hand, Jagan doesn’t attend the Assembly session and on the other, he hasn’t protested even once at the ground level in the last 30 months or so.
Coming to the topic now, Jagan is in the negative discussion again for a couple of activities that have happened in the recent past.
First, it was the decision to skip the independence Day celebrations at any capacity. He did not fulfil his duties as a public representative by hoisting the flag on the occasion of Independence Day. This is strange for an individual who had served as a former CM.
Adding to that, Jagan has now avoided, wishing the people of Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi yesterday.
There were no public videos of Jagan celebrating the auspicious occasion at his residence in Bengaluru, nor did he share a message on social media.
Jagan has been very blatant about his public activities in the recent past, and this is leading to a lot of criticism on social media, but he appears to be least bothered about the same.
First, it was the case of the Independence Day event, which was disregarded by the former chief minister and now, it is the Vinayaka Chavithi occasion. Better planning is expected from the former CM and his team at this point.
