Jagan’s Double Blow To Contract Employees!

During his Padayatra before the 2019 elections, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had promised to regularize all contract jobs once he is in power.

In more than three years in power so far, not even a single contract job is regularized.

These employees do not have job security and mostly live on meager salaries.

Adding to their woes, the government had decided to terminate all welfare schemes for the contract employees. This is part of the government’s plan to decrease the burden of the welfare schemes.

Already the contract and outsourcing employees earning more than 10,000 rupees per month have lost their White Ration Cards.

They are losing all Navaratnalu one after the other. The family members of the employees are also not getting pensions.

With no job security and having to live on meager salaries, losing welfare schemes is making things worse for contract employees.
