Sharmila Goes Cinema Style!

YS Sharmila, the daughter of Late YS Rajasekhara Reddy is trying to test her luck in Telangana politics. Her party name has been finalized as YSR Telangana Party and was supposed to be officially announced on July 8th as YSR Jayanthi Special.

The initial plan is to have a massive public meeting in Hyderabad – Rangareddy districts as a display of strength but that is not possible given the ongoing pandemic situation. So, Sharmila’s team is planning to have the party launch event at JRC Convention Center in Jubilee Hills.

JRC Convention Center is famous for film events and marriages. It is not used for political events and meetings until now. Only a thousand party leaders from all the 33 districts in the state are invited to the event. But then, the event will be streamed virtually to ensure the participation of One lakh people.

Currently, there are no restrictions whatsoever in Telangana and Sharmila could have gone ahead with her party plans. But then, she does not want to give a chance for criticism for anyone on the bid day and decided to keep it a low-key affair.
