Sharmila Loses Media Glare?

Until a month ago, YS Sharmila who is the latest entrant into Telangana politics used to get decent media coverage. The media used to observe the proceedings in Sharmila’s camp and would report about something or the other. But things drastically changed.

It all started with Etela Rajender’s ousting from Telangana Cabinet. The focus all of sudden is on Eetala’s next step and the possible changes in Telangana politics. After that, the media is completely busy with the reporting on COVID Second Wave.

Things turned serious in Telangana with the increasing cases and the imposition of the Lockdown. Amid all this, Sharmila’s party is lost at least as far as the media coverage is expected. She has to do something different to attract the press now.

Meanwhile, Sharmila has announced a COVID helpline to the people in distress. Even that did not get proper media coverage for reasons discussed already.
