Sharmila To Embarass Jagan Further?

YS Sharmila has been fighting in Telangana against all odds for around two years. There is no light at the end of the tunnel but Sharmila is fighting and also completed a Padayatra there.

Now, there are rumors that Sharmila has got an offer to merge her YSR Telangana Party into Congress.

Sharmila recently met Karnataka PCC President DK Shivakumar in Bengaluru. He reportedly placed this offer before Sharmila. Congress hopes to consolidate the Christian and Reddy community voters by taking Sharmila on their side.

Congress also feels this move will strengthen it a bit in Andhra Pradesh. Also, it will be a checkmate to Jagan who decimated Congress in Andhra Pradesh after YSR’s demise.

Congress reportedly promised the Paleru seat to Sharmila and a few other seats to her key leaders.

If Sharmila agrees to this proposal and merges her party into Congress, she is likely to come to AP and campaign for Congress candidates which will be a big embarrassment to Jagan.

Sharmila who campaigned for Jagan in 2012, 2014, and 2019 left empty-handed, shifted to another state, and if she comes back to campaign against her own brother, there can not be a bigger shame for Jagan than this.
