Viveka Case Transfer Out Of AP: Verdict On 28th

The Supreme Court has made it clear that it will give its verdict next Monday on the petition to transfer the investigation into the murder case of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy to another state.

The Supreme Court, which had earlier announced that it would give its verdict on November 21 (today), postponed it for another week. To this extent, the bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice MM Sundaresh pronounced.

Earlier the Supreme Court of India had opined that the investigation in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder case is not happening properly and agreed to shift the case out of Andhra Pradesh.

The verdict will decide which state will handle the case. The CBI asked the Supreme Court not to shift the case to Telangana but asked for Karnataka.

Jagan Mohan Reddy has cordial relations with Telangana Government and that may be the reason.

YS Vivekananda Reddy is the Uncle of the Chief Minister who was murdered just before the 2019 elections. Jagan blamed TDP during the election campaign.

Viveka’s daughter named YSRCP leaders as the suspects after the election and made direct allegations that Jagan Government is trying to save them.

She approached the Supreme Court saying that she does not trust the government. The Apex Court also agreed with her.

If the Chief Minister can not ensure a fair investigation in his own Uncle’s murder case, it is a big shame. Also, YCP leaders in this case also bring doubts on Jagan.
