YSR Congress is fighting for its existence in Andhra Pradesh after the resounding defeat in the 2024 election where the Jagan party got restricted to just 11 seats.
Due to the abnormally representation amongst the public, YSR Congress is having to do a lot of theatrics to stay relevant in the political scenario. They have unfolded one such attempt by trying to claim credit for Google Data centre in Vizag.
Since earlier in the morning, YSR Congress social media groups have been extensively bombarding the social space by sharing clips of Jagan speaking about the data centre and crediting him for the same.
There is a full campaign that is underway from the social media teams of the Jagan party to claim complete credit for the establishment of Google data centre in Vizag. They are claiming that Jagan was the one who laid down blueprint with Adani and Airtel, along with the Google partnership for this investment drive in Vizag.
While there is this blatant attempt to claim credit for the Google data centre, the imminent reality is painting a different picture altogether. YSRCP’s Tirupati MP Gurumurthy himself had approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court with a PIL against the allocation of lands to Google.
YSRCP appears to have messed up their counter arguments regarding the Google centre as the party is trying to claim credit for this project and on the flip side, a representative of the party had filed a case against land allocation for the same. This double gameplay is a work of art that perhaps no other political party can conspire other than the one that’s doing it already, remarks a veteran journalist with M9.
