YSR Congress Kapu MLA in to TDP

Reports are emerging that one more MLA from YSR Congress is going to shift to the ruling Telugu Desam Party. This time it is the turn of Praththipadu MLA, Paruvula Subba Rao who belongs to Kapu community. Subba Rao held a meeting with his followers in Lingaparthy and they have approved his decision unanimously.

Recently TDP incharge in Praththipadu, former MLA Parvatha Satyanarayana Murthy passed away and so there is a space for Paruvala in the constituency. It has to be seen when he will join the party. Sources say that he may join the party only after the budget session since YSR Congress is pressing for disqualification of defected MLAs through voting on appropriation bill.

Media reports say as many as 10 YSR Congress MLAs are planning to jump the fence to TDP. If that happens, TDP will easily grab the fourth Rajya Sabha seat which should normally go to YSR Congress. Biggest shock from Jagan may be from his party’s Deputy Floor leader, Jyothula Nehru which will send wrong signals to the entire cadre.
