YSR Congress Not Even Sparing Gods!

Andhra Pradesh Assembly’s Short-term discussion on Amaravati and three capitals had witnessed bizarre discussions and arguments, particularly from the treasury benches.

The Chief Minister in particular put up ridiculous arguments in favor of the three capitals and spit venom on the Padayatra of the farmers from Amaravati to Arasavilli.

“These people want this area (Amaravati) to become the capital. They are going all the way to that area (Uttarandhra) to pray to that area’s god,” the Chief Minister said.

Minister Gudivada Amar also came up with similar statements.

“Why do they need to do a Padayatra? Today they are coming to our area and are praying to our god,” the Minister said.

Andhra Pradesh Politics has witnessed a divide in the name of castes and religions until now. We are now seeing the divide in the name of God as well.

Meanwhile, there have been speculations that the government will table new bills pertaining to the three capitals in this session. But it looks like there will be no new bills and the government will move on just with the discussion.
