YSR Congress Throwing Red-Flag to Investors?

Politics in Andhra Pradesh is taking an ugly turn. YSR Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Sai Reddy a letter to UGC chairman Professor Indrapal Singh on the violation of rules by GITAM University. He alleged in the letter that there was a violation of the rules in setting up the university.

He made several allegations on the Educational Institutions and urged for the stripping off its Deemed University Status. The entire issue started with the Government demolishing some structures of GITAM on the garb of encroachment in Government lands.

GITAM has moved the High Court alleging Political Vendetta because its Chairman, Sri Bharat is a relative of Chandrababu Naidu and a TDP leader. Vijay Sai Reddy took it to the next level with this complaint. Leaving aside politics, GITAM is one of the Prestigious institutions in Andhra Pradesh.

It is always in the Top-10 Engineering Colleges of both the Telugu States. Targeting such an institution will show the Government in poor light and will throw a red-flag to the investors and prospective business owners who are contemplating coming to AP, experts opine.
