YSR Congress to bid goodbye to Lotus Pond

YSR Congress since the state bifurcation, is operating out of Jagan’s Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad. They closed down their old office as a part of cost cutting measures after 2014 elections and shifted to Lotus Pond. On the other side, Ruling TDP has slowly started shifting of its party affairs to AP long back.

Sensing the need for shift, Jagan had decided to shift the party meetings to Andhra Pradesh. From now, all the party meetings will happen in Vijayawada itself. The first meeting of YSR Congress in Vijayawada will be the state level party organization meeting. It is likely to happen on June 6th.

The date is not confirmed as Rajya Sabha elections will happen on June 11th. If the elections will happen unanimously, the meeting will happen on 6th as planned. In case, there is a competition then the meeting will happen after the Rajya Sabha elections. The correct date will be decided after the time for the nominations filing lapses.
