Only five parties have given letters supporting the simultaneous elections. TRS, Akali Dal, Samajwadi Party, AIADMK, and YSR Congress are the parties supporting the idea. TDP has opposed the Elections already. With majority parties opposing, it may not happen.
BJP wants simultaneous Parliament elections in November since Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are going for elections. Any unfavorable results in those elections will damage the prospects of parliamentary elections and so, BJP is keen to have simultaneous elections.
