YCP Harassment: Lyricist To Approach Cyber Cell

With Andhra Pradesh elections not too far from now, the parties have amped up the social media game. As a result, there is a lot of impetus in the social media campaigns of YCP, TDP, and JanaSena.

In this connection, the YCP troops on social media have crossed the fine line and have gone overboard as they suspected that a Tollywood technician is involved with a social media page affiliated to JanaSena.

There’s this one Twitter page inclined towards JanaSena and it targets YCP every now and again. Incidentally, all of a sudden, YCP started claiming that Tollywood lyricist Ananta Sriram is the one who is handling this Twitter troll page that mocks YCP.

Subsequently, YCP troops started coming down heavily on Ananta Sriram. They went on to abuse and threaten him.

Sriram is currently in the USA on some tour and he has issued a statement now, saying he is in no way involved with the JanaSena page and he is being unnecessarily harassed by YCP troops on social media.

The lyricist vows to lodge a complaint with the cyber crime authorities soon after he returns to India. He vows to take legal action against those abusing and threatening him.
