YSRCP Minister Summoned To Court On May 13th

Newly inducted minister, Kakani Govardhan Reddy was in the news after the crucial documents of his own case were stolen from a court immediately after taking an oath.

This case pertains to Kakani making false allegations of Hawala on the then minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy using forged documents. Somireddy filed a case on that.

The case came to a hearing in a special court in Vijayawada today.

But Kakani skipped appearing in the court. The court adjourned the case to May 13th and asked the minister to compulsorily attend the next hearing.

On the other side, the police investigation is on in the case of documents missing.

The police have caught some petty thieves and tried to curb the criticism in the case. But their explanation did not cut ice with the common public.

There are apprehensions in Somireddy’s camp that the case will weaken after the documents go missing.
