YCP MLA Joins Congress

Nandikotkur MLA Arthur Thoguru joined the Congress party today. He joined the Congress in the presence of the APCC President YS Sharmila.

Arthur won in the 20189elections, representing the YSR Congress Party. However, things went into trouble when YS Jagan appointed Dr Sudheer Dhara as Nandikotkur incharge earlier this year.

It was rumoured that Arthur’s differences with Byreddy Siddharth Reddy resulted in him losing the Nandikotkur ticket.

Disappointed with YCP’s decision, Arthur resigned from the party month ago. Later, it was assumed that he may join TDP or Jana Sena.

However, Arthur finally chose to join the Congress. He will be the candidate of Congress in the Nandikotkur constituency in the upcoming general elections.
