YSRCP is in overdrive mode with the election season setting in Andhra Pradesh. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has been overdoing the MLA and MP relocation as he is shifting nearly 100 MLAs for the coming elections.
Now, ABN has come up with an interesting report, saying that YSRCP and its chief Jagan have set a big price tag for the MLA and MP tickets.
As per this ABN report, YCP is charging Rs 140 crores for each of the MP tickets and the asking price is going up in key seats like Vizag, Vijayawada, and Rajahmundry.
And as for the MLA tickets, they are reportedly priced at Rs 20-40 crore. As a result, the party is finding it tough to allot the MLA tickets as candidates are backing down in many constituencies where the believe victory is anyway tough and it is not feasible for them to match the party’s asking price.
As per this report, even party seniors are having to pay the said amount to get MLA and MP tickets. Apart from that, the candidates will have to bear the election management costs as well, it seems.
