YSRCP to Come Under Election Commission and IT Radar?

YSR Congress Chief Secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy had presented the Party’s Audit Report from 2013 to 2016 in the Plenary the other day. Interestingly, Parties reveal their Income and Expenditure Reports in Plenaries but then Vijaya Sai Reddy did not announce them.

This comes at a time when there are a lot of allegations on the party donations. In the donations list put up by the party on its website, there are donations on Fake Names and addresses. Some of the donations are also from abroad which is illegal in India.

Some of the TDP supporters have brought this to the notice of the Election Commission of India and Income Tax Department. This hiding of the party’s Income and Expenditure Numbers will also prove to be problematic for the party if an investigation is initiated.

On the other side, YSR Congress sources say that the party’s income has fallen down post the 2014 elections defeat as donations dried down. The party did not give the numbers as falling incomes will hit the morale of the party’s cadre.
