What is the film Babu Baga Busy about?
Madhav (Srinivas Avasarala), a sex addict. How he finally falls in love and marries is what the film is all about.

How is Srinivas Avasarala’s performance?
Srinivas Avasarala is a complete misfit for the role of a playboy. He lacks the spark to carry the role. One can see that he has the wits, but that is clearly not enough when we are looking at an engaging on-screen portrayal. Since the main lead is a misfit, the rest doesn’t matter, not that it’s better, as there is no connect with the proceedings.

Direction By Naveen Medaram?
Naveen Medaram has executed few scenes well, but overall there is always a feeling that he is not in complete control. Things on screen look neat, but for a film that has so much spice, the audience never gets to feel it. There is absolutely no tension at all despite what all is going on screen.

The biggest problem for the film apart from the casting error of lead is the humor, it never works. The jokes are so silent that before one even realizes it, the scene gets over. The moment from one sequence to other looks very lazy and frankly uninteresting.

Another major issue is the lack of clarity in the proceedings. The character of friend who shapes up the mindset of hero is ambiguous. It is muddled, and we never get an idea what is happening with him and why is it disturbing or influencing the friends. With so much missing in translation, this remake is a terrible wasted opportunity given the potential it had via the theme of love and sex.

Misthi Chakraborty and others?
The film has only one significant role, and that is of lead hero. There are many known faces in the film but of them lack any purpose to the actual narrative. Heroine Mishti Chakraborthy is lovely and looks good in her part. There is nothing for her to do acting wise. Tejaswi is another wasted artist in the movie. Priyadarshini is alright. Ravi Prakash suffers due to lack of clarity in characterization. Tanikella Bharani is alright. Sudha is forgettable. Supriya plays a bold character, and it must be appreciated, but the way it is handled in the movie leaves a lot to be desired in term of impact.

Music and other departments?
Music by Sunil Kashyap is okay. The background score is better. The cinematography is neat. Editing could have been better. Dialogues are dull and lack spice considering the subject at hand.
