What is “Malligadu Marriage Bureau” about?
The title is basically a giveaway. The film is about a marriage bureau set up by Malligadu and his only work is to set up marriages for anyone in any condition. Is there is reason for Malligadu to set up this marriage bureau? To find out you have to watch the film.

How is Srikanth’s performance?
This is a bread and butter kind of part for hero Srikanth. He has done these kinds of roles in the past and done them well. This is just another one among those.

What about Uday Raj’s direction?
Direction by Uday Raj is poor. He fails to get the balance right between the comedy and the emotional aspect of the story. The way a comedy wakes way for emotional scene is jarring. What it does therefore is it lessens the impact of both the comedy and sentiment and gives one the feeling of a very lengthy film in the end. This feeling makes the film appear big bore and drag when in fact it had all its takes to be a decent engaging watch. It’s a failure on the director’s part.

Other artists performance?
Mano Chitra gets a decent character and looks alright as well. There is nothing much asked from her performance wise. Sirisha is fine as sister of Srikanth. There are a host of comedians in the film ranging from Brahmanandam to Jayaprakash Reddy to Posani Krishna Murali etc. apart from Brahmanandam and his gang rest are present only for a scene or two. Brahmanandam is good but nothing exceptional.

How is Music, Songs and other departments?
Music by Raghuram is decent given the vibe the film gives and the production it is. Background score is poor and so is editing. Cinematography is inconsistent. Choreography of songs is pretty routine.

What about the box office performance of the film?
The film is practically absent from a trade point of view. The film has elements to please the front benchers temporarily but it will have no choice but to wake way for next big release.
