Renowned Malayalam actress R. Subbalakshmi, known for her grandmother roles, has passed away at the age of 83. She gained recognition for her portrayal in the Telugu film Kalyanaramudu.
Subbalakshmi began her film career at a late age and became known for her versatile performances in both comedic and substantial character roles. Her notable films include Kalyanaraman, Pandippada,Nandanam,and Rappakal. She was also seen in Ye Maya Chesave and Beast.
In addition to her film career, she made a significant impact in television serials and talk shows. Subbalakshmi’s daughter, Tara Kalyan, who is also an actress is saddened by the sudden demise of her mother.
