BJP First List: Significant Importance to BCs

In anticipation of the Telangana assembly elections, Member of Parliament (MP) Laxman revealed that the BJP may announce its candidates soon. The BJP’s central election committee has discussed candidate selection for three states, with over 50 candidates for Telangana already decided.

Laxman emphasized the party’s commitment to social justice in candidate selection, focusing on women and BCs (Backward Classes).

“In the first phase, over 20 seats will be allocated to BCs. BRS MP Kavitha was very much vocal about women’s reservations, but their party announced fewer seats for women. Congress and BRS are the first to ignore BCs, but BJP will stand with them,” revealed Lakshman, adding that the party is still thinking about Raja Singh’s suspension.
