Botsa Out Of YCP?

Ahead of the pivotal elections, the ruling YSR Congress Party is witnessing a surge in discontent, marked by sulkiness, disappointment, and resignations among its leaders. Several senior members, disheartened by the party’s recent actions, are leaving the party.

Among these developments, MLC C. Ramachandraiah quietly departed from the party and is speculated to join the Telugu Desam party soon. Simultaneously, Mahender Reddy, disapproving of the directives from the party’s high command, has become unreachable after switching off his phone. Adding to the roster of departures, cricketer Ambati Rayudu, who recently joined the party, tendered his resignation following the purported denial of the Guntur ticket.

Rumours now circulate that senior leader and minister Botsa Satyanarayana is contemplating a departure from active political engagement and plans to abstain from contesting in the upcoming elections. Allegedly, his decision stems from dissatisfaction with the party’s recent course of action.
