CBN Bail Conditions: Judgement Reserved

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has concluded the hearing on the affiliate petition filed by the AP CID, which sought to impose additional conditions on the interim bail granted to Chandrababu Naidu. Following a thorough consideration of arguments from both sides, the court has scheduled the verdict to be delivered on November 3.

CID officers have alleged that Chandrababu Naidu violated the court’s orders by interacting with the media. Additionally, they claimed that he participated in a 13-hour rally from Rajamahendravaram to Vijayawada, by breaking rules.

On the other side, Chandrababu’s legal team argued in court that he did not breach the court’s orders. They asserted that Naidu’s engagement with the media is a fundamental right and does not constitute a violation of the court’s instructions. Furthermore, they contended that the conditions proposed by the CID would encroach upon Naidu’s rights.
