Telangana Congress party in Hyderabad has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) against Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) for alleged political comments made during an official program. They claimed that KTR made political comments during the CM Scheduled Tribes Entrepreneurship Innovation Scheme Success Meet at Park Hyatt Hotel.
The Congress’s Election Commission Coordination Committee Chairman, J. Niranjan, wrote a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar, urging action against KTR for violating the Election Code. The complaint included a news report detailing KTR’s alleged comments.
The war of words is actively going on between both BRS and Congress parties. Amidst this, we have to see how EC will respond to the complaint.
