T-Congress’s ‘Operation Aakarsh’ is working big time in Telangana. Many BRS leaders, especially from the GHMC and surrounding areas, are jumping into Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
BRS MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy’s wife Patnam Suneetha Reddy and their son Patnam Rineesh Reddy will join Congress today in the presence of T-Congress in-charge Deepdas Munshi. It is being heard that Suneetha Reddy will be offered the Chevella MP ticket. Meanwhile, Mahender Reddy still continues in BRS, maybe because of his MLC post.
Along with Suneetha, former Hyderabad mayors Bonthu Ram Mohan and Theegala Krishna Reddy are also expected to join Congress with their family members today. It is heard that Bonthu will be given an MP ticket for the Secunderabad constituency.
On the other side, the current deputy mayor of Hyderabad, Srilatha Shoban Reddy is also expected to join Congress today. Reportedly, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is making strategic moves while bringing prominent leaders from other parties. He doesn’t want to bring all of them together and create confusion over ticket distribution. Instead, he is taking it slow and bringing a few members into the party once in a while. More such joinings are expected to take place in T-Congress ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.
