Contractors Upset With Jagan’s Partiality

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Contractors Association are upset with the AP government’s issuance of a Government Order (GO) to settle bills exclusively for contractors in one particular region. They raised concerns about whether contractors from Pulivendula and Dhone were the sole beneficiaries, excluding others.

They strongly criticized Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s decision to exclusively settle bills for contractors in Pulivendula and Dhone despite repeated appeals. They emphasized that the CM should refrain from displaying favouritism and should treat all contractors equally, deeming such partiality unconstitutional.

They are urging immediate bill payments for all contractors, expressing that failure to do so will prompt them to organize a protest against the government.
