A criminal case was filed against Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan for allegedly making defaming statements about state volunteers. The case has been filed by the AP Government in the Guntur Court.
Allegedly, Pawan made derogatory comments about volunteers on July 9th last year. The state government condemned his remarks and filed a criminal case under IPC sections 499 and 500.
Meanwhile, the magistrate redirected the case to the fourth additional district court. Notices were duly served to Pawan, summoning him to the attend hearing on February 25.
