Actor Mansoor Ali Khan has been booked by the Tamil Nadu police for alleged derogatory remarks against co-star Trisha Krishnan. The National Commission for Women directed the Women Police to book Mansoor under Sections 354 A (sexual harassment) and 509 (outraging modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
Despite the controversy, Mansoor held a press conference, refusing to apologize and stating, “I didn’t say anything wrong. I respect all actresses.”
Trisha had strongly criticized the remarks and declared she would not work with Mansoor again. The controversy has drawn widespread condemnation, including from prominent figures like Chiranjeevi.
