Reportedly, comedian Ali is set to enter active politics soon. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Ali will contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, representing the YSR Congress party.
According to the sources, YCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to give either Guntur or Nandyala Lok Sabha ticket to Ali. As of now, this is a rumour and we have to wait a few more days to get an official confirmation.
Ali was expected to contest in the 2019 Assembly Elections but he didn’t. However, he campaigned actively for the YSRCP during those elections. Later, he was appointed as the Electronic Media Advisor for the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
