
In a heartbreaking incident in Hyderabad, a soldier from the Indian Army lost his life due to a Chinese Manja (kite string), which caused a fatal injury.
The victim, Kagithala Koteswar Reddy (30), hailing from Pedda Valteru in Vishakapatnam, worked for the Indian Army in Hyderabad. Tragically, while riding his two-wheeler home on Saturday, his throat was severely cut by a Chinese Manja on the Langar Hauz Flyover.
Immediately, he was rushed to hospital but despite the medical intervention, the doctors pronounced him dead. The police have registered a case under Section 304 Part 2, citing culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
