A tragic incident unfolded in Hyderabad as a wife committed suicide in the aftermath of her husband’s recent death, unable to cope with the overwhelming loss.
The distressing event occurred within the jurisdiction of Mangalhat Police Station. According to Circle Inspector Ravi Kumar, Amankumar Singh (36) and Asmitha (31) were a married couple, blessed with two children named Rithvik and Ronak. Amankumar worked in Gachibowli and tragically passed away on December 26 due to a brain stroke resulting from high blood pressure.
In the wake of her husband’s demise, Asmitha found solace in keeping his photo close, often grieving inconsolably. The unbearable anguish led her to take her own life by hanging herself. Following a police report, her body has been transferred to Osmania Hospital for post-mortem examination.
