
The Telangana High Court has issued notices to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan in response to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by former MP Chegondi Harirama Jogaiah regarding Jagan’s alleged illegal assets.
The High Court, in agreement with the petitioner’s counsel, Polishetty Radhakrishna, directed the registry to assign a number to the PIL. Harirama Jogaiah’s PIL requests an order to expedite the investigation of cases related to Jagan’s alleged illegal assets in the CBI court to resolve these cases before the AP assembly elections in 2024.
Subsequently, the High Court issued notices to Jagan, the CBI, and the CBI court.
