IT Raids On Noted Congress Leaders

This morning, tax officials visited the homes of two well-known Congress leaders. They searched the houses of Badangpet Mayor Chigurinta Parijatha Narsimha Reddy and Maheshwaram Congress candidate Kichanagari Lakshma Reddy.

Around seven tax officials began the searches early in the morning. They looked at the leaders’ belongings and important papers. Parijatha is in Tirupati, and her husband Narasimha Reddy is in Delhi at the moment.

The Congress party leaders claim that these tax raids are an attempt by both the BJP and BRS leaders to damage the reputation of Congress leaders during the election season.
