
In the high-profile Kodi Kathi case, the accused Janipalli Srinivasa Rao has filed a bail petition in the AP High Court. The High Court has ordered the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to file a counter in response to the petition.
The next hearing for Srinivasa Rao’s bail petition has been adjourned to the 15th of this month. Srinivasa Rao has been in custody at the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail since the incident and has not been granted bail.
Srinivasa Rao’s family members are also seeking his release, and he has written a letter to the Chief Justice of India (CJI) regarding this matter.
