KTR Demands Ind Investigation In Jahnavi’s Case

Former Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao severely condemned the pathetic verdict of the NRI student Jahnavi Kandula’s death case. He demanded the US Ambassador in India take up the matter with the US authorities and deliver justice to Jahnavi’s family. He said that the verdict was disgraceful and unacceptable.

Jahnavi was killed by a speeding police car in Seattle last year when she was crossing the road. The US authorities declared that the accused cop, Kevin Dave, would not face any charges due to the lack of evidence.

KTR requested External Affairs Minister Jaishankar to take up the matter with his counterpart and demand an independent investigation of the case. “It is tragic that the life of a youngster with soaring ambitions has been cut short but what’s more tragic is the callous disregard for justice to the victim,” tweeted KTR.
