Nara Lokesh posted a tweet expressing major concern about his father’s health. He wrote:
“There is an undeniable and immediate threat to CBN’s life. He is being deliberately harmed. His safety is unquestionably at risk. CBN is facing a dire situation, dealing with mosquitoes, contaminated water, weight loss, infections, and allergies, all without access to timely medical assistance. The GoAP is trying to administer steroids to him. ”
KTR, during a media chat, responded by expressing his sympathy and recalling his personal experience during his father’s fast unto death.
If this is true, it is unfortunate situation. I am not aware of the facts, but if this is true, it is not good in politics.
He is a 73year old leader. As a son also I can understand Nara Lokesh’s position. It is not right. There are so many things we do in politics, but this is not right.
I can relate to Lokesh and I can understand what the family is going through. My Sympathies are with them.
When my father was in NIMS during his fast unto death during Telangana agitation in 2009, as a son I know the pain. IG intelligence came, took me aside and threatened me during Rosaiah’s regime that your father will be brain dead tomorrow and die in 4days. You are mad people, no one is caring about you in Delhi. When I didn’t budge, a lady police officer took my mother to tell the same. At a personal level, as individual, I didn’t feel good seeing this tweet. Politics is different. I can relate to it as a son.
Some people criticized KTR for what they perceived as rapidly changing stances for settler votes, while others supported his statements.
