Mollywood Films Collect 150 Cr In February

Generally, February is considered a dry month for movie releases as the business will be very low. The Telugu film industry also had a dull February this year. However, the Malayalam film industry is on a roll this month and delivered three blockbusters in three weeks.

Premalu, Bramayugam and Manjummel Boys are the three movies which were released this month and garnered super-hit talk from the audience. The cumulative worldwide gross of these films has now crossed Rs. 150 crores. The numbers are expected to increase this week as the films are still going strong at the box office.

Mollywood delivered two hits, Abraham Ozler and Aattam, in January. In February, the industry witnessed three blockbusters in three consecutive weeks. Overall, 2024 is turning out to be a dream year for the Malayalam film industry.
