Nithiin Stands Against Sexist Remarks On Trisha

Trisha recently slammed her Leo co-star Mansoor Ali Khan for his derogatory remarks. The actress expressed her disappointment and disgust over Mansoor’s comments, calling them ‘repulsive’. She vowed that she will never work with him.

In the viral interview, Mansoor could be seen saying, ‘When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies.’

He added ‘I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies and it is not new to me. But they did not even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule.’ This comments by Ali has irked Trisha.

To note, a lot of celebrities in the industry have come out in support of Trisha. Talented actor Nithiin took to social media to express his support for Trisha, publicly denouncing Mansoor Ali Khan’s misogynistic comments.

The actor quoted Trisha’s response tweet and wrote, “I strongly condemn Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan’s vile and vulgar statement against Trisha. Chauvinism has no place in our society. I urge everyone to stand up against such remarks against women in our industry.”

Nithiin is currently shooting for ‘Extra – Ordinary Man’ & the film will be hitting the screens across the globe on December 8th.
