Actor Varun Tej is getting ready for the release of his new film Operation Valentine. The theatrical trailer of the movie was launched today. Speaking at the trailer launch event, Varun Tej said that the film will reignite patriotism among people.
He said, “I always strive to explore new concepts with my films. I need to ensure that your hard-earned money, spent on watching my films, is well-deserved. ‘Operation Valentine’ is one such new kind of film. It is the first aerial genre in Telugu cinema, promising numerous edge-of-the-seat moments.”
“Audiences will be filled with pride and admiration for our soldiers after coming out of the theatres. The film aims to reignite the spirit of patriotism among viewers for sure,” he further added.
To play the role of a fighter pilot, Varun Tej met IAF officers and learned nuances from them. Even during the shoot, two real-life fighter pilots used to be on the sets to help actors get their body language right.
Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, Operation Valentine is based on the 2019 Balakot Airstrike. It features Manushi Chillar as the female lead. The film will hit the screens on March 1.
